The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.


Obituary:
James “Duncan” Hite, 66, 119 Butler Circle, husband of Alice Thompson Hite, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at his home.

Born in Louisburg, NC, he was the son of the late Charles Welcome Hite, Sr. and Mary Alice Horne Hite. He was a 1970 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism and received a degree in Theology from Erskine College He was a publisher and author of “Feather in the Wind” and was an avid photographer. Duncan was the owner of Communication Plus in Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Welcome Hite, Jr. and Thomas Franklin Hite.

Surviving in addition to the wife of his home are a daughter, Christie Allison Jacques and her husband Ernie, of Ninety Six; and three grandchildren, Eric, Alicia, and Christopher Jacques, all of Ninety Six.

The family is at the home.
